Join Tasha live and online (via zoom) for a weekly journaling session. These sessions are time for you to share space with others who are in exactly the same position as you; we are collective grieving the loss of our babies, whatever the circumstances (miscarriage, TMFR, missed miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, stillbirth).

The feelings we will cover over a 4 week ‘term’ are:

Equipment you will need:
Zoom- you will be sent an invite in the lead up to the session you have booked.
A pen and notebook
A blanket and somewhere cosy to do the writing and relaxation
A candle to make your environment relaxing
A warm drink
A safe-person that you can connect with if the emotional response last beyond the session

  • We invite you to have your camera on to begin with so that we all feel connected to others who have experienced the same type of loss as us. You can of course turn this off at any point or leave the call if you feel you want to stop at any point. You can email me after on hello@birthproject.uk if you need further guidance.

  • We start with a themed check-in with our bodies, noting where the tension or feeling we are carrying sits.

  • Tasha will introduce you to our feeling of the week through the creative words of someone who has already poured their heart onto paper. Our first task will be inspired by this and we will use some simple sentence starters to get you thinking and engaging with that feeling.

  • We will move onto a longer task that requires more time- but, importantly, you have options. You are not pressured to make meaning; this is just about expressing that emotion in a way that feels right for you.

  • We always try to finish in a calm and safe way. You have been brave enough to engage with these heavy emotions, now it’s important that you get to release them and decompress. We will use some grounding techniques and a guided meditation to make sure you end by feeling supported and connected with the present moment.

Do you need to be good at writing?

Absolutely not. This is for you. And only you. There are no right words to express loss or feeling. And you do not have to share anything.
